Ski Downhill
Courmayeur has a ski area of over 100 km of slopes from Chécrouit to Val Veny with slopes for every level of skier, always varied. We pass from the large plateaux of the north-east side of Chécrouit to the pine forests of the north-west side of Val Veny, all dominated by the imposing Mont Blanc chain. It is possible to reach the area with three different cable cars from Courmayeur, Dolonne and Entrèves.
Among the classic itineraries, the Arp Vieille, the upper part of the Chécrouit area, the Thoula glacier, starting from Punta Helbronner and the descent of the Vallée Blanche also starting from Punta Helbronner which with its 20km through the Mer del Glace in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif reaches the French side up to Chamonix.

Cross-country skiing
The cross-country skiing ring is located in Val Ferret. The slopes start from the town of Planpincieux, and wind along the entire valley with routes of 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 kilometers on varied terrain. The itineraries, always traced and beaten, include many variations thanks to which the cross-country skier can create his own ring every day by lengthening or shortening the basic itineraries.
