The public transport service in Courmayeur is based on the bus service of the regional concessionaire Savda SpA.

During the winter and summer tourist seasons the public transport service is strengthened.
In particular, access to the Veny and Ferret side valleys is regulated and trips to these destinations have therefore increased, departing from Piazzale Retegno (Loc. La Palud).

State Railways: Numerous daily trains connect Pré – St. - Didier station (via Aosta station) with the Italian railway network. From Pré – St. Didier, a shuttle service is organized towards Courmayeur coinciding with the arrivals and departures of trains. For train timetables, please refer to the TRENITALIA-FS website.

Piazzale Grivel in the Dolonne area, near the Sports Center (free; parking prohibited on Wednesday mornings)
Piazzale Retegno, La Palud, near the Mont Blanc cable car and gateway to Val Ferret (free)
Piazzale Volpi, at the motorway exit and in front of the cable cars (free)
Piazzale Val Veny in Entrèves (free)
